This is your invitation to this year’s tackle and cheer banquet for Grades 6 - 8. The banquet will be held at The Italian Center in Stamford on Tuesday, December 1 at 6:30 pm. Your RSVP is due by November 17.
 
We are planning to have another exciting raffle as part of this year's celebration. In the past few years we have been fortunate to be able to supply our athletes with new jerseys, pants, helmets, cheerleading uniforms, lights, a scoreboard, tackling sleds, dummies - among other things. But a successful fundraising effort at the banquet is necessary to continue to provide the equipment and apparel the kids need.

If you have access to an item, which we could include in the raffle, such as sports or entertainment memorabilia, tickets to a sporting or entertainment event, larger electronic items, a weekend house, photography, opportunities to play golf, etc., please let us know as soon as possible. Players and Coaches are admitted to the banquet free of charge HOWEVER; they must still make reservations online to attend.

Donation to Wilton Community Assistance:

This year we would like our WYF family to do something special to help our Wilton friends who are struggling a bit. All WYF players and cheerleaders are asked to help out in one of two ways when they attend their banquets:

One is to contribute to a holiday gift for a Wilton child by donating a gift card, in any amount, from Wal-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, Amazon, Master Card, Visa or American Express.

             - or-

Bring one of these much needed items:

  • Paper towels
  • Toilet Paper
  • Detergents
  • Personal Care items

Also in need of:

  • Juice Boxes
  • Juice
  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Healthy snack items for kids lunches
  • Cereal
  • Hearty soups for winter
  • Pasta Sauce (no pasta)
  • Peanut butter and jelly
